DESCRIPTION
The Wine Valley Inn (former Chimney Sweep Inn) is located on an acre of
gardens in a quiet downtown neighborhood. Guests enjoy spending the day
wine touring and tasting; or golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, boating,
shopping and strolling through galleries and museums or gaming at the
Chumash Casino. In the summer, dramas and musicals are presented at the
nearby Solvang Festival Theatre under the stars. The Inn is surrounded
by a variety of restaurants featuring California wine country cuisine,
Danish, French, Italian, Mexican and classic American favorites.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Located on an acre of gardens, the Inn offers 63 uniquely-styled accommodations
in one, two and three-story buildings for every taste and budget—including
six Garden Cottages, Fireplace Deluxe Rooms, Chateau Loft Suites, Chateau
Standard Rooms and a spacious one-bedroom Apartment. Each is individually
decorated with comfortable furnishings featuring private bath, direct
dial phone, cable TV with free HBO movies, in-room coffee service,
refrigerator, hairdryer, heat/air-conditioning. Many feature a wood-burning
fireplace, whirlpool spa, kitchenette, balcony or private patio.
GUEST AMENITIES
Meandering gardens and patio deck with outdoor fireplace. Pet friendly
and smoke-free rooms (outdoor smoking areas are designated). 24/7 staffed
front desk assists with arranging dining reservations, recreational activities
and spa/massage services.
EVENT FACILITIES
The outdoor terrace and garden area will host up to 30 guests for weddings.
The Vintners Room is available Noon-10pm for receptions, wine tastings
and meetings for up to 50 persons. Since kitchen facilities are not offered,
a list of local caterers is provided upon request.
